300瓦斯气发电机组是淄柴自主研发的燃气发动机，以煤矿瓦斯为主要燃料，技术水平国内先进。机组额定功率范围400～1200kW，适应煤矿瓦斯浓度低、气源波动大的特点，适应最低瓦斯浓度范围8%，低浓瓦斯机组优点突出。机组可高、中、低压输出，功率大、输出持续恒定，可单机组运行也可多机组并联运行。目前已在国内各大煤矿广泛应用。
在8300D/W系列非增压型瓦斯气发电机组的基础上，开发的8300ZLD增压型瓦斯气发电机组，通过废气涡轮增压中冷技术与智能空燃比自动控制技术相结合，以及发动机关键零部件优化的优化与强化，实现机组功率的大幅提升，稳定运行功率达到1000kW。
瓦斯气甲烷体积含量≥8%，瓦斯气输送压力2.5～10kPa，压力变化率≤1kPa/min，变化速率≤5％/min；杂质粒度≤5μm，杂质含量≤30mg/Nm3, 水分含量≤40mg/Nm3，不含游离水，瓦斯气进机前温度≤40℃，含硫量≤50mg/Nm3。
（1） 适应瓦斯气体浓度范围广，适应瓦斯气体浓度范围8%～60%，适合瓦斯气气源波动大的特点，能保证机组输出功率持续恒定。
（2）低浓度瓦斯输送系统，采用火焰冷壁熄灭阻火、湿式水封阻火、细水雾伴送等措施保障输送安全。
（3）采用电控混合器技术、闭环自动控制技术，可实现燃气发动机最佳空然比和最佳点火提前角的实时控制。
（4）机组配备了智能管理系统，确保燃气发动机安全、高效运行，并可实现燃气发动机组的远程监控。
（5）配置废气余热利用系统，充分利用高温烟气热量，可实现热电冷联供。
（6）可以高、中、低电压输出，以满足用户各种不同需求，避免购买变压器的初始投资，减少铜损，降低运行成本；
