沼气发电领域：大型养殖场的禽畜粪便、屠宰加工企业的废水、餐厨垃圾、城市污水处理厂、有制浆的造纸厂的污水等经过厌氧发酵工艺产生的沼气；酿酒厂、酒精厂、淀粉厂的发酵沼气；城市垃圾填埋场所产生的垃圾填埋气等，经过必要的脱硫、过滤等处理，可用来发电自用或并网，烟气余热回收后可用来加热沼气反应池。
