常见的挡边输送带为大倾角波状挡边输送带，由基带、挡边、横隔板3部分组成。
档边和横隔板是用二次硫化的方法与基带连接的，具有很高的连接强度。
横隔板：挺性大，耐冲击，不易变形，输送角度小于40度时用T型或TS型，大于40度时用C型、TC型或TCS型横隔板。
挡边：波状挡边可实现0°和90°之间的平稳转换。
