天然气发电领域：城市、油田、气田等地方的管道天然气、油井伴生气，经简单处理后做为燃料发电，并可根据需要，机组配套实现冷、热、电联产，节能减排、经济效益较好；可替代现场原有的燃气锅炉，作为节能改造项目，也是目前国家政策积极推动的项目。
淄柴燃气发电机组在环境温度-20℃～+40℃，相对湿度＜90%（20℃时），海拔高度≤2000m的环境条件下能稳定、可靠、连续地运行。
在标准环境状况下（大气压力100kPa，环境温度：25℃，空气相对湿度30％）能稳定输出额定功率。
天然气中甲烷体积含量≥70%，距离机组进气调压阀前1米内，天然气输送压力2.5～10kPa,压力变化率≤1kPa/min，变化速率≤5%/min,杂质粒度≤5μm，水分含量≤40g/Nm³,杂质含量≤30mg/Nm3,天然气温度≤40℃，含硫量≤200mg/Nm³,NH3≤40mg/Nm³。
