整体式汽车驱动桥壳是采用新材料、新工艺、新结构的新型桥壳。1、材料采用特殊无缝钢管材料，桥壳的抗拉强度达到680、屈负强度达到550、延伸率达到15%以上。2、工艺选用冷涨成型,轴管缩径特殊处理。3、结构选用琵琶孔本体与两端轴管整体成型，且不等壁厚。4、此桥壳由于材料特殊、工艺先进、结构合理，大幅度提高其机械性能，刚性优于冲焊桥壳，塑性优于铸造桥壳，本体与轴管间无焊缝，并达到不等壁厚。即具有冲焊桥壳工艺优点，又具有铸造工艺优点，更充分体现出桥壳的安全可靠性和轻量化等性能(重量比冲焊桥壳轻15%左右)。更适用于客车、公路用车和部分工程用车。该桥壳经国家科技成果鉴定，结论为：填补国内空白，达到国内领先水平。拥有发明专利5项，实用新型专利10项， 产品主要为一汽、汉德、北奔、安凯、华菱、方盛、宇通、三一重工和韩国统一产业等配套。
